Things he already has:

Plenty of campsites w/ water & power-no sewer  $15 a nite per group, not per person

He will put us all in the same area & has 28 in the back horseshoe nice, shady, not muddy, & private

31 stalls in a closed in barn $10 /nite

72 paddocks (holds up to about 3 horses) $5/ nite

Can picket at no charge

Day ride $15

Riding fee $25 for as many days as you stay during a week

Cabin sleeps 4 $65 /nite

apt. over office sleeps 4 $75 /nite

travel trailer sleeps 2 $50 /nite

Big barn with kitchen and big tables, 40 chairs concrete floor for gatherings or meals at no charge to use, can have dinners, pot luck, what ever, booths.

They will cook and sell meals for $6 breakfast & $8 dinner if we have enough (says 20 campsites)

140 x 220 (roundpen) arena we can use as we like with small bleachers enough to seat 50 or so

He will almost for sure have trail obstacles set up  as he already has them made and will more than likely be using them for his Memorial Day ride the following weekend.  We can play on them for free as much as we want and he will host a competition one day if we want.  He charges $10 apiece and splits the pot between the top 3 winners.

Anyone can fish in his BIG pond/small lake if they don't want to ride or like to fish, no charge

Reservations required and a $25 deposit.  Coggins required.  They will know more about the meals when people start making reservations.

Hay bales will be available for sale and he will get shavings on request.

Some rocky trails, so shoes or boots are recommended.

Some hills that would make breast collars, cruppers handy!

There should be plenty of water for the horses on the trails.  You can stay out all day, so need saddle bags for lunch, drinks, snacks.

The weekend before Memorial Day is great for him and he says the real Memorial Day he can almost guarantee one day of rain.  Hopefully the almanac will be right about the weekend before - May  21 thru 24th, or however long you want to stay.

The website is

http://www.fayewhittemorefarms.com/

He prefers his cell to make the reservations as he is not inside during the day.  It is the 205=522-4137 number.

Address to send deposits to is:  Faye Whittemore Farms,  1335 Forrester Rd. ,  Jasper, AL  35504

He has also hosted a Best of America By Horseback with Tom Seay, so it would be on that website, too.

Thanks, and I hope this is OK with everybody.  Ricky is excited about the proposition and eager to work with us.
